About the Author

I’m an author born and raised in Peoria, Arizona, where I currently live with my wife and our dog, Benny. I’ve wanted to be an author ever since I was 5 years old, when I stayed home sick from Kindergarten and wrote a riveting story about a friendly Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Something about books, the weight of the pages and the world in your hand when you hold one… I’ve been intoxicated by it ever since. I once started copying word-for-word the novel Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli on our new computer circa-Windows ‘95, simply because I just wanted to write.

The works of Michael Crichton, J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Brooks, Robert Louis Stevenson, Edgar Allan Poe, Tom Clancy, and Louis L’Amour have helped me find my own voice as an author.

My own books find inspiration from movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, A Knight’s Tale, and shows like HBO’s Rome - and from novels like The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood, Treasure Island, and Timeline.

I work full time in an office. I also spent years working in retail and warehouses, driving forklifts, making food deliveries, and more… but my dream is to write books for a living.
